Harmono raharjo, 2013. Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar PKn Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD Berbantuan Multimedia di Kelas V-B SDN 012 Tarakan. Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Borneo Tarakan dibimbing oleh Dr. Suyadi, M.Ed dan Ahsan Sofyan, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning berbantuan multimedia pada pembelajaran PKn pokok bahasan menghargai dan menaati keputusan bersama kelas V-B SDN 012 Tarakan tahun pembelajaran 2012/2013.
Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V-B SDN 012 Tarakan dengan jumlah 29 siswa, siswa laki-laki 13 dan siswa perempuan 16. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, dimana aktivitas setiap siklusnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah menerapkan pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD (student teams achievment division).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh pada setiap siklus, sebelum diberikan tindakan motivasi siswa masih dikategorikan kurang. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II, pencapaian motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat dari Siklus I dengan hasil 79% siswa termotivasi dengan kriteria tinggi. Siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan hasil 100% siswa termotivasi dengan kriteria tinggi,.
Kesimpulan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD (student teams achievment division) berbantuan multimedia pada pembelajaran PKn siswa kelas V-B SDN 012 Tarakan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
