The rationality of child protection from sexual exploitation in tourism, located on three context, namely: Protection of children from sexual exploitation in tourism it is relevant to the concept of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) regarding the defenisi sustainable tourism. According to the WTO, Sustainable tourism development meets the needs of present tourists and host regions while protecting and enhancing, opportunities for the future. It is envisaged as leading to management of all resources in such a way that economic, social and aesthetic needs be fulfilled while maintaining cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity and life support systems. Protection of children from sexual exploitation in tourism is a form of attachment against the tourism responsibilities to implement the global code of ethics for tourism. Protection of children from sexual exploitation is a form of compliance with national legal instrument and national culture.
