Korea selatan adalah sebuah Negara

Korea selatan adalah sebuah Negara di Asia timur yang meliputi bagian semenanjung korea chingu.di bagian utara,yang mana keduanya bersatu menjadi sebuah Negara dari tahun 1948. Negara korea ini dikenal juga dengan nama hanguk (한국) oleh penduduk korea selatan chingu sedangkan korea utara menyebutnya dengan Namchosŏn (남조선).
