Dropbox merupakan salah satu media penyimpanan online yang sangat berkembang dan banyak digunakan saat ini. Dropbox dapat diakses langsung melalui website resmi dropbox atau dengan menginstall aplikasi dekstop dropbox. Aplikasi Dekstop dropbox yang digunakan juga masih memiliki kelemahan, yaitu membebani resource memori dikarenakan aplikasi yang terus berjalan di background service yang melakukan update file yang ada di dalam server dropbox. Oleh karena itu perlu dirancang dan bangun sebuah aplikasi alternatif yaitu aplikasi klien cloud storage dropbox dengan HTTP Request. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman delphi dan Metode Pengembangan Sistem Rapid Application Development (RAD).
