Berdasarkan Tabel 2 ditunjukkan bahwa total skor IFAS adalah 2.45, nilai tersebut berada dibawah rata-rata (2.50) berarti bahwa kekuatan yang dimiliki untuk menentukan strategi pemenuhan kebutuhan dosen serta strategi dan langkah dalam menarik minat calon dosen menjadi dosen di Universitas 45 Mataram belum cukup kuat untuk menanggulangi kelemahan yang dimiliki. Sedangkan pada Tabel 3 ditunjukkan total skor EFAS sebesar 2.308. nilai tersebut bearada dibawah rata-rata (2.50) menunjukkan bahwa Universitas 45 Mataram belum maksimal dapat memanfaatkan peluang dan meminimalkan ancaman yang ada. Namun dari kedua skor tersebut, skor IFAS masih lebih besar dari pada skor EFAS, sehingga faktor internal masih lebih kuat dalam kombinasi dengan faktor eksternal.
Kombinasi dari faktor strategis internal dan eksternal selanjutnya dirumuskan ke dalam empat jenis strategi utama yang terbagi menjadi sebelas alternatif strategi pengembangan sistem pemenuhan kebutuhan dosen seperti nampak pada Tabel 4.
