Pengaruh inflasi terhadap tingkat pengangguran sangat berpengaruh karena Tingkat Pengangguran yang rendah akan menimbulkan masalah Inflasi, sebaliknya bila tingkat Pengangguran tinggi tingkat harga-harga relatif stabil. Seperti yang telah di kemukakan oleh A.W. Phillips menggambarkan bagaimana sebaran hubungan antara inflasi dengan tingkat pengangguran didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa inflasi merupakan cerminan dari adanya kenaikan permintaan agregat. Jadi pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta harus melakukan upaya agar tingkat pengangguran menurun dan dapat menstabilkan inflasi.
