Hari itu adalah hari Minggu. Tepat dimana semua orang libur dari kegiatan sekolah maupun pekerjaan nya masing-masing. Pada hari itu pula aku dan teman-teman se-kampung berencana menghabiskan waktu kami dengan mencari ikan di Sungai yang terletak di depan Rumahku.
Pada saat pukul 10.00 aku dan teman-teman ku berkumpul di Teras depan rumah ku untuk bersiap-siap pergi ke sungai untuk mencari ikan. Kami pun telah siap dengan ember yang di bawa oleh masing-masing orang untuk tempat menampung ikan nanti. Setelah berkumpul kami segera berangkat menuju sungai. Kami bersorak-sorak sambil melewati sawah-sawah dan melewati jurang-jurang yang sangat curam, namun hal itu tidak membuat kami takut. Kami malah bertambah semangat karena ingin segera menangkap ikan.
Setibanya di sana, kami segera mencari tempat yang teduh untuk menaruh alas kaki kami dan dengan segera terjun ke sungai menangkap ikan juga sambil berenang kesana-kemari. Disana kami bersenang-senang ria menghabiskan hari minggu kami. Tak perlu lama-lama kami di tempat itu, setelah merasa bahwa ikan nya telah berkurang, kami segera berpindah ketempat yang lain. Sebelum kami terjun ke sungai tiba-tiba kakak ku berkata 塗ey, hati-hati tempatnya dalammendegar kata-kata itu jantung ku dag-dig-dug tidak karuan, karena memang aku sebenarnya tidak bisa berenang. Karena teman-teman yang lain bisa berenang, mereka bersenang-senang di sungai dengan berenang bersama-sama. Aku melihat mereka rasanya ingin ikut bergabung, dan tanpa pikir panjang aku segera terjun ke sungai. Ternyata sungai itu dalam sekali, bahkan ketinggiannya sampai se-leher ku. Aku sedikit cemas, tetapi tetap ku beranikan untuk maju agak ke tengah.
Saat aku sampai di pertengahan aku berhenti sejenak untuk menginjak batu agar aman dari ketinggian tersebut. Namun saat aku akan kembali ke tepi, aku tergelincir batu yang baru saja aku pijak tadi, hingga akhirnya aku tenggelam. Aku pun langsung berteriak minta tolong
“ttoollonngg..... too..llo..nng...di dalam hati kau sangat takut sekali, karena tidak ada seorang pun yang mendengar teriakan ku. Bahkan aku takut bagaimana kalau nanti aku tidak selamat. Aku hanya bisa berdo'a sambil mengeraskan teriakan ku.
“ttoollonngg.... too...lloo..ngg..dalam hati ku, aku sangat benci, karena aku mendengar kata adik ku yang mengira bahwa aku hanya berpura-pura tenggelam. Akhirnya tak lama kemudian kakak ku mengetahui bahwa aku tenggelam dan dia pun segera menolongku, kemudian aku di tarik ke tepi sambil menangis tersedu-sedu.

Gara-gara kejadian itu, aku sudah tidak berani lagi pergi ke sungai itu.
