suatu hari ada seorang bapak yang bernama umar. bapak umar ini bekerja sebagai petani cengkeh. istrinya sudah meninggal. bapak ini mempunyai tiga orang anak dan tugasnya sekarang harus mencari nafkah untuk membiayai kehidupan sehari hari dan anak anaknya. namun anak anaknya ini tidak pernah membantu ayahnya untuk bekerja melainkan hanya pergi jalan jalan. hari demi hari berlalu, bapak yang mempunyai tiga anak ini terkena sakit parah maka bapaknya tidak bisa bekerja lagi.ketiga anaknya itu menjaganya dengan penuh kasih sayang maka disitulah bapaknya berkata kepada anaknya bahwa kalau bapak sudah meninggal kalian bertiga harus menggantikan pekerjaan bapak dan jangan bermalas malasan karena hasilnya kalian juga yang dapatkan. dan beberapa hari kemudian bapak mereka meninggal . dari situlah mereka mulai bekerja dengan sungguh sungguh dan mereka mempunyai cengkeh yang banyak akhirnya mereka jual dan mereka mendapatkan hasil yang banyak sehingga bisa membeli rumah dan mobil.
