2.2 Incidence Causes Anxiety
Causes of anxiety difficult to be estimated precisely. This is caused by the nature subyekif of anxiety, that the same is not necessarily the same perceived well by everyone. In other words, a stimulus or event with the same quality and quantity can be interpreted differently from one individual to another.
The theory of cognitive states that anxiety reactions arise because of mental mistakes. This mental errors because errors menginterpetasikan a situation which for individuals is something threatening. Through cognitive social learning theory, Bandura stated
that the fear and anxiety generated from negative expectations of themselves because they believe that they can not cope with the situation that is potentially threatening to them.
While based sources onset of anxiety, Freud (In Calvin S. Hall, 1993) distinguishes anxiety into 3 types, namely:
a. Neurotic anxiety (Neurotic Anxiety), which is closely associated with the anxiety of self-defense mechanism, and also due to the guilt or sin, conflicts serious emotional, frustrating, and inner tensions;
b. Moral anxiety (Anxiety of moral conscience / super ego), namely the fear of conscience, in the past personally never violate moral norms and laws can be longer, for example, are afraid
to commit acts that violate the teachings of religion;
c. Anxiety Realistic (Realistic Anxiety), namely the fear of real dangers in the outside world, for example afraid of poisonous snakes.
