Skripsi ini membahas dua metode iterasi orde empat bebas turunan kedua untuk
menyelesaikan persamaan nonlinear. Setiap iterasinya, memerlukan satu
evaluasi fungsi dan dua evaluasi fungsi turunan pertama. Pada analisis konvergensi
menunjukkan bahwa metode iterasi ini memiliki orde konvergensi
empat, sehingga memiliki indeks efisiensi 1.587. Selanjutnya dari simulasi numerik
terlihat bahwa metode yang didiskusikan lebih baik dari pada metode
Newton dan metode Jarratt dalam mendapatkan akar pendekatan.

This thesis discusses two methods of the iteration order of four second derivative free forsolve nonlinear equations. Each iterasinya, requires onethe evaluation function and the first two derivatives of the function evaluation.
