This research aims to: 1) design construction boiler type Vertical fire tube boiler with a capacity of 160 kg/h generates steam saturated temperature on 1000C – 1500C for use in the process of heating system steam on the industry knows. 2) with the design of the boiler this can add insight into the boiler maker specifically for entrepreneurs of the industry know, and provide information about the utilization of the boiler to the community. 3) designed the construction of safe boiler design with standard ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) ASME Section IV. 4) knowing the design of boiler using INVENTOR software. The research results obtained by the boiler specification type Vertical fire tube boiler with steam operation pressure of 2 bar and a design internal pressure 6 bar. The dimension of the boiler's diameter 6 mm, 504, height 1450 mm and inside are the fire pipe with a diameter of 42 mm amounted to 13. Fuel use firewood and also the maximum volume of water that can be contained in the boiler to 89.4 liters. The material used for the plate, i.e. carbon steel S 285 Grade C and to their material i.e. pipes seamless carbon steel SA 53 Grade B.
