PENDAHULUAN

A. LATAR BELAKANG
Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan suatu lembaga pendidikan teknologi dimana memiliki tujuan mendidik siswa-siswinya dengan keahlian dan ketrampilan sesuai dengan kejuruan masing-masing.Sehingga menjadikan lulusannya mampu bekerja secara mandiri maupun mengisi lowongan pekerjaan di dunia kerja sebagai pekerja tingkat menengah karena sudah berbekal ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki.
Mengetahui tujuan pendidikan SMK, maka untuk tercapainya tujuan tersebut maka selalu diupayakan adanya inovasi guna peningkatan perangkat pendidikan seperti sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan tenaga pengajar yang baik.
Sehingga disumpulkan tugas SMK adalah mempersiapkan dan membekali siswa-siswinya disiplin, ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan profesional di bidang teknologi sesuai tuntutan kerja.
Berdasarkan tuntutan tersebut, Departemen Pendidikan Nasional menerapkan KTSP 2006 dengan mewajibkan SMK menerapkan Pendidikan Sistem Ganda (PSG).Pendidikan Sistem Ganda (PSG) adalah suatu sistem pedidikan yang menggabungkan pendidikan di dalam sekolah dan di luar sekolah yang berhubungan langsung dengan dunia industri seperti Praktek Kerja Industri (PRAKERIN).
Oleh sebab itu, SMK Leonardo Klaten sebagai salah satu sekolah kejuruan yang menerapkan dan mewajibkan siswa-siswi kelas XII mengikuti Prakerin.Dengan masa Prakerin selama 2 bulan dan juga sudah mencangkup pembuatan laporan untuk syarat mengikuti Ujian Nasional (UN).

BACKGROUNDVocational secondary school (SMK) is an institution of technology which has the goal of educating siswa-siswinya with expertise and skills in accordance with the respective vocational.Making graduates are able to work independently as well as filling job vacancies in the world of work as a middle-level workers because it was armed with knowledge and skills that are owned.Know the goals of SMK education, then for the achievement of these goals then it is always attempted innovation in order to increase the education and infrastructure such as education, the curriculum and the teachers are good.So that the disumpulkan task of CMS is to prepare and equip siswa-siswinya disciplines, science and professional skills in the field of technology according to the demands of the work.Based on these demands, the Ministry of national education implements KTSP 2006 required CMS to apply a dual system Education (PSG).The dual system of education (PSG) is a system that combines civic education in school and outside of school are directly related to the world of industrial work practices such as industry (PRAKERIN).Therefore, SMK Leonardo Klaten as one that implements the vocational school and class XII students oblige follow Prakerin. with the Prakerin for 2 months and have also encompassed the creation of reports for National examination (UN).

So disumpulkan vocational task is to prepare and equip students -siswinya discipline, knowledge and professional skills in the field of technology according to the demands of work. Based on these demands, the Ministry of Education implement SBC 2006 by requiring vocational applying Dual System Education (PSG) .Pendidikan Dual System (PSG) is a system that combines education pedidikan in school and outside of school that are directly related to the industry such as the Job Training Industry (PRAKERIN). Therefore, SMK Leonardo Klaten as one of the vocational schools that implement and require the students of class XII followed Prakerin.Dengan Prakerin period for 2 month and also covers the preparation of reports to the requirements of the National Examination (UN).
