Berikut ini adalah format kerja praktek yang akan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa :

• Pengenalan

Pada tahap ini, mahasiswa akan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan pekerjaan dan mempelajari masalah yang diberikan oleh PT Chevron Indonesia Company.
• Observasi dan Penelitian

Pada tahap ini, perusahaan memiliki kewenangan penuh dalam hal proses belajar mahasiswa. Perusahaan memberikan kasus atau persoalan kepada mahasiswa. Selanjutnya, mahasiswa akan mencoba untuk memberikan solusi. Solusi yang diberikan merupakan hasil observasi dan penelitian mahasiswa melalui metodologi tertentu.
• Pembuatan Laporan

Tahap ini merupakan tahap terakhir dari kerja praktek. Mahasiswa akan menuliskan laporan tentang hasil kerja praktek. Laporan ini akan diberikan pembimbing kerja praktek PT Chevron Indonesia Company dan departemen Teknik Kelautan Universitas Hasanuddin sebagai bahan evaluasi dan dokumentasi
