b) Perundingan di Panmunyom (25 Oktober – 27 Juni 1953)
Perundingan ini merupakan perungingan yang bersambung pada perundingan di Kaesong. Dalam perundingan ini masalah garis demokrasi dibahas dan menjadi hangat. Pihak utara mengusulkan garis demokrasi selebar 2 mil, selanjutnya daerah ini dijadikan daerah bebas militer. Tentu saja dengan persetujuan pihak Korea Selatan. Artinya permasalahan pada perundingan sebelumnya yaitu perundingan Kaesong sudah teratasu dan terselesaikan. Perundingan selanjutnya adalah perundingan genjatan senjata.
