ABSTRAK



Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan Medan merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta yang telah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk menunjang kegiatan akademik, sehingga membantu para dosen dan mahasiswanya dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar. Selain itu Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapa Medan juga menyediakan fasilitas penunjang yang digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam proses akademik, Salah satu fasilitas yang di sediakan adalah perpustakaan. Perpustakaan merupakan pusat terkumpulnya berbagai informasi dan ilmu pengetahuan baik yang berupa buku maupun bahan rekaman lainnya untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan proses belajar mengajar. Dengan kata lain perpustakaan sudah menjadi salah satu hal terpenting dalam suatu perguruan tinggi, namun untuk meningkatkan layanan perpustakaan bagi para pelajar “Aplikasi Library Catalog STT Harapan Medan Berbasis Android Dengan Menerapkan Algoritma Boyer Moore” akan membantu untuk mempermuda dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada para pelajar yang memiliki minat belajar yang tinggi.
